Long winters and short glimpses of the sun gave life to Demon Head in 2012 in the city of Copenhagen. It quickly became clear that what the five demon lovers had awoken could not be buried again. The sound of old amplifiers, tape recording, and raw power shows the inspirations from the first really heavy bands, blues and gloomy music in all its forms. A sinister kind of diabolical saw its first live appearance in late 2013 and since then Demon Head hasn't seem to be able to stop. Live shows have become notorious for their spell-like intensity and loud, dark groovyness.
After a demo tape that quickly sold out, the Winterland 7'' came shortly after the bands' first tour in Scandinavia with the witches of Körp, and just in time for their appearance at the Heavy Days in Doom Town festival. In the early days of spring 2014, Demon Head travelled to a small house in the country side near the infamous Heather Hills and recorded eight songs for their debut album Ride the Wilderness. The record was released a year later and the first press sold out in a matter of months. The acclaim of the underground was significant and the album was praised for its skilled songwriting, warm production and a certain sinister catchiness.
By now, it has been five wild tours of Europe and countless times has Demon Head appeared live to break down barriers and worship no one but the music, on festivals such as Muskelrock, Metal Magic, and Heavy Days in Doom Town, squats, concert halls, whiskey bars and out in the free air. They've thus shared stage with a myriad of bands from near and afar.
Driven by a burning love and dedicated work ethic, always with the help of friends and strangers, in 2015 a split 7'' single with fuzz punks Alucarda, was also recorded by the band. Shortly after a tour with heavy metal warriors Night Viper, the demons prepared to record their second album. Though sometimes down on luck, they managed to get a hold of an old mixing board and once again take shelter, far away from the city. Through day and night a new album has been summoned into being, entitled 'Thunder on the Fields', and was released the 7th of April by The Sign Records. While staying true to their signature sound, the songwriting is more refined, the songs more gritty and burning with urgency. The album has just been repressed in june 2017. And yet, there is much more to come...
SILHOUETTE (DK)

"Dark Rock"... Where elements from the 70’s and 80’s hard rock and
occult/shock rock is weaved together to a personal sound and style. Romantic and melancholic melodies get a grotesque edge from the scary and obscure face of rock music.
Silhouette's debut ”Die the Fire” which is released on November 13th, contains of six tracks that unfolds in a dynamic explosion of psychedelic details, long freaky pieces and a great interaction between lapsteel guitar and true hammond rock organ.
”Die the Fire” was recorded during winter 2013 in a rented summer cottage surrounded by cold, barren dunes close to the North Sea. During the recording there was also DIY ongoing, which was everything from technics and production to practical things as dragging gear and setting everything up. The recording was performed partially separately but all drum and bass is recorded
together like the track “The Great Orange Sky” which was recorded live with the full band.
The release was intended to be an EP with a bit more “stuffing” than normal EP’s. The choice of songs on the record was made based on the opportunity to present the listener with a wide range of silhouettes, different musical themes and shades.
Lyrically it stretches widely but the general atmosphere is carried by
melancholic and bleak themes. Silhoutte grapples with chaotic forces and actions in life and tries to express this through lyrics. Realisation of and uncertainty in relation to life and death, magic and general supernatural and astrological phenomenon’s are all topics that underpin the band’s music.
On stage, Silhouettes universe is presented effectively and atmospherically.
The dark and occult themes are effectively in play together with the band's hard, atmospherically full and melodious progressive sound. The band’s first live appearance was when they opened Metal Magic Festival, Fredericia, in the summer of 2014. Besides this the band has performed ”Festiwal Legend Rocka,
music competition” in Poland of the summer 2014 summer and have also performed at various shows during 2015 such as the Mono Goes Metal festival and Kolding Kulturnat.
During 2016/17 the band made alot of exciting shows, counting support for Dewolff at Schaubude Kiel in Germany, a 12 day European Tour in May 2016, and several well known locations in Denmark afterwards ie: Pumpehusets
Byhave/Vinterbyhaven and "Blastbeasts" "TheNewShitShowcase". Silhouette has thus far delivered hard hitting performances during 2017. Proving the continueasion of making Silhouette a better, at shows such as Metal Cafe in Kolding, and Metal Magic “Zero”. In the summer of 2017. Silhouette, made up by Tobie (lead vocal, bass) Tommie (drummer, vocal) Stefan (guitar, lapsteel, vocal) and Eric (organ/keys, guitar, vocal), started back in 2012 when Tobie and Tommie got together and started writing songs.
It is a band with a common background in Fredericia and Kolding, they are all friends who are gathered around a journey of the soul and an idea of how rock music should sound and be interprete
